Nucoco巧克力與格蘭哥尼威士忌迸發出火花!

They say a balanced diet is a chocolate in each hand, but at Glengoyne we prefer a chocolate in one and a dram in the other as we launch our interactive chocolate and whisky-tasting tour, in partnership with Glasgow-based chocolatier Nucoco.

The new tour will offer visitors a chocolate and whisky tasting experience designed specifically to complement the flavour profiles. The matching session will pair 10yo Glengoyne with a smooth Nucoco milk chocolate and tablet delight and a hand-crafted a 54% dark chocolate with cranberry, whilst in order to go toe to toe with the dried fruit and rich, spicy oak flavours of the Glengoyne 21yo Nucoco has created a 54% dark chocolate with ginger and a 70% dark chocolate with pistachio. Also included in the new experience is a tour of the Distillery and a welcome dram of Glengoyne 12yo. 

在我們的參觀裡有部分為香氣訓練,我們特別要介紹到巧克力與威士忌的品嘗。以搭配性來說,我們使用格蘭哥尼10年威士忌與Nucoco牛奶巧克力口味搭配。至於乾果、豐富辛香味的格蘭哥尼21年威士忌,我們使用了54%帶有草莓味的黑巧克力來搭配。Nucoco製作的54%黑巧克力帶有薑汁味道,而70%黑巧克力則帶有開心果味道。當然最重要的還是格蘭哥尼酒廠參觀之旅,我們也會用一杯12年來打開這一個旅程!

Stuart Hendry, Brand Heritage & Commercial Manager at Glengoyne Distillery said: "We are really excited about the partnership with Nucoco. There is a good link with whisky and chocolate -  single estate chocolate is equivalent to single malt whisky, whereas single bean varieties can be as sought after as single cask whisky. Over the last few weeks our Distillery team has spent hours with Jackie Wynne of Nucoco, relentlessly consuming fine chocolate and single malt in the pursuit of perfect pairings. It was not easy, but we stuck with it. This will be an enjoyable new way to visit Glengoyne, it will complement our in-depth whisky tours and I wholeheartedly recommend an hour and half of blissful indulgence."

As well as enjoying the new tours at the distillery, Nucoco chocolates will also be available to purchase at the distillery shop and online with suggested whisky matches.
Stuart continued: "Glengoyne and Nucoco are well-aligned to work together. Both are family businesses with similar brand values – to offer a premium product that has been produced through investment of time and infinite care.  Glengoyne whisky is hand-crafted using air-dried barley and oak sherry casks, which are seasoned for six years while Nucoco is produced from the finest cocoa beans from Asia, Africa and America. Both result in an innovative, top quality product."
