Trophy GOLD for Glengoyne at the Drinks International Travel Retail Awards
國際飲者雜誌/旅遊消費大獎,傳來格蘭哥尼獲金牌的捷報!

Glengoyne Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky has scooped a gold medal for Best Packaging/Repackaging of a Drinks Brand and the prestigious trophy for overall winner of the category, at the Drinks International Travel Retail Awards 2013. Glengoyne unveiled its award-winning repackaged and enhanced premium collection in autumn 2012 including the travel retail exclusives Burnfoot and 15 year old Distiller’s Gold along with the 10 year old, Cask strength and 21 year old malts.
在2013國際飲者雜誌/旅遊消費大獎中,格蘭哥尼高地單一麥威士忌打敗群雄贏得了最佳品牌包裝設計金牌、總冠軍。格蘭哥尼在2012年秋季推出贏得好評的全新系列包裝,包含了免稅通路獨家款-Burnfoot、15年蒸餾廠金選款以及10年、原酒、21年等等。



The iconic 17 year old was also upgraded to a world-class 18 year old. The enhanced portfolio and premium packaging was designed to better represent the brand’s core values of time, care and attention to detail. Andy Lane, Travel Retail Director for Ian Macleod Distillers, was at the glittering ceremony at The Beach Restaurant, Cannes, France tonight (Tuesday 22 Oct) to collect the award. He said: “We are thrilled to have been awarded gold for our Glengoyne packaging and to scoop the trophy for overall winner of the category. The response to the repackaged Glengoyne collection has been fantastic and for our malts to be recognised by these prestigious awards is a great reward for all our hard work.”
過去經典款17年如今升級為18年雪莉新桶,將核心品項再次提升、增進包裝的設計質感等等都是為了要跟品牌精神相呼應,即保留傳統、花時間細心照料、對每個細節都臻求完美。Ian Macleod伊恩麥克勞德蒸餾廠的免稅通路行銷主管-Andy Lane於10月22日法國坎城頒獎典禮得到該獎時說到:「我們真的很興奮很高興新包裝可以獲得大家的喜愛,贏得最佳設計金牌、總冠軍獎,對於格蘭哥尼新包裝可以有這樣的回饋讚賞,對於酒廠的工作同仁辛苦努力付出都是很棒的肯定。」


The Drinks International Travel Retail Awards is now in its seventh year. It is the only travel retail awards exclusively for drinks and the awards recognise the importance of the drinks sector in duty free retailing.   Christian Davis from the Drinks International Travel Retail Awards said: “The judges were impressed with the quality of the packaging and particularly with the tasting notes. The cartons had impressive stand out but it was the slightly quirky, fun notes describing the liquid in the bottles that the judges particularly liked.”
國際飲者雜誌/旅遊消費大獎目前已經辦到第七屆了,是免稅通路中獨家酒類的評鑑比賽。主辦單位中Christian Davis提到:「評審對於格蘭哥尼包裝品質及品飲紀錄的欄位設計非常印象深刻!它的紙盒外包裝特別受到評審的喜愛,因為它描述裡面酒類的文字充滿幽默感、又有點鬼靈精。」



Glengoyne is owned by one of Scotland’s leading, independent, family-owned distillers, Ian Macleod Distillers. Glengoyne is handcrafted from the finest sherry casks within Glengoyne’s warehouses. Unlike most other single malt whiskies, Glengoyne dries its malted barley using only warm air resulting in an extremely subtle yet complex malt where all the delicate flavours are freely expressed. The Glengoyne Distillery - highly regarded as Scotland’s most beautiful distillery is situated in Dumgoyne near Loch Lomond. Glengoyne runs its stills slower than any other distillery, proof that Glengoyne genuinely is “Worth the Wait”.
格蘭哥尼目前是由蘇格蘭Ian Macleod伊恩麥克勞德蒸餾廠,由家族獨立經營的領導酒廠所擁有。格蘭哥尼用它自豪的雪莉桶陳年於自家的酒窖中。另外不像其他蒸餾廠,特別要提到格蘭哥尼乾燥大麥的方式是採空氣乾燥法,僅利用溫暖的空氣慢慢將大麥烘乾,保留大麥極細緻的香氣也讓一些優雅的芳香自由綻放。而格蘭哥尼這一個被譽為「最美麗酒廠」的蒸餾廠所在位置就在羅曼湖附近的Dumgoyne,用它全蘇格蘭最慢速蒸餾的步伐向世人證明格蘭哥尼的威士忌「值得等待」。
